Hello,
My father was the Flight Engineer of this plane (Sgt Barry James Howarth) which was shot down by Me110. My father and the navigator (Sgt George Thomson) found each other after bailing out and were on the run for about 8 days before being captured near Rastatt. George is the only surviving crew member and we keep in contact with each other.
Grusse
David
